Thankful Thursday

Thankful today for a couple of days of spring-type weather.  Warm temps had me outside walking with the dogs.  Heaven, I say!  This weekend is supposed to bring icy weather with a layer of snow on top of it.  This means I need to be prepared with the Holy Trinity of Snow ~  milk, bread, and toilet paper.  Even here in the Upper South, these items will be in short supply in the next day or two.

What are you thankful for today?  Link it up and let me know!

  4. Hello, I think your spring like weather is moving this way. A few days a warm weather will be nice. It is crazy seeing how crowded the food stores get if a storm is coming. If we go it is more for "comfort" food more than the milk, toilet paper and bread. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day!

  6. I am thankful for "enough". Not too much of anything, good or bad, just enough.

  7. Holy Trinity of Snow! That's great. I've never heard that before. But it makes a lot of sense. We're getting some more cooler weather later this week but no freezes, thank goodness. The last one made a mess out of some parts of the golf course! You do know, of course, that spring is almost here! :)

  11. Ouch, that sounds dangerous! But it's first time I've heard about what the holy trinity of snow is! Since I live 1 1/2 hr. away from good food, I always have a stash of items I think I can't do without:) I know I've gotten out of the habit to write you what I'm thankful for. But seeing a video yesterday makes me very thankful we live 7 hrs. North of the mud slides. They already caused 16 deaths.
    Stay safe!

  15. I felt thankful to have no snow, no ice for my walk this morning,
even if I did get rained on. How fast things change . . .
zero to 50’s and back to freezing and ice in the morning.
    Thankful for the variety . . . I think!

  18. It's even getting chilly again here in the 'lower South' (but not *that* cold! .... Take care, stay off that scary black ice -- and definitely stock up on that holy trinity! (I don't like to run short on any of those things even when I can always run to the store)..... Thanks so much for hosting this great sharing opportunity.
